贡川古城

梅列贡川古城位于距桃源洞风景区10公里处的贡川镇，是福建省现存最完整的古镇之一。镇内古城墙至今保留较好，它建于明嘉靖年间，长2000多米，高79米。明末城堡内建有书院，藏书十万册。城堡外有建于明末清初，造型别致的会清桥。

“哇！大家来看看，这些是什么？”11月19日，在永安市贡川镇，“2019年应急救灾水毁项目修复工程”刚开始施工，就有了意外发现——贡川人寻找多年的古城墙砖竟然埋藏在马路下。

众里寻“它”，古城墙砖就在眼前。这一发现，让整个施工队“沸腾”了。他们马上将情况上报有关部门，并展开古城墙砖“救援”活动……

“流浪”的墙砖

得知施工队挖出了“宝贝”，贡川人也激动不已。一场古城墙砖捐赠活动，在朴实的贡川人中展开。

“如果没有这段古城墙，暴雨时期，贡川洪涝更严重。”53岁的村民刘立新，一辈子生活在贡川。听到这个消息后，他马上搬出家里珍藏的古砖，一块块码在施工现场。

在贡川人心里，古城墙是故乡的“魂”。古城墙始建于明嘉靖四十一年（1562年），用鹅卵石、花岗石、丹霞石作墙基，底部由青砖丹石砌成，绕贡川城一周，原长3100米，高约7米。因此，贡川又名“贡堡”。

“小镇修建城墙非常罕见。”贡川镇文化站站长朱德忠说，当地人口口相传，当年倭寇进犯，有识之士倡议筑堡自卫，众人捐资出力，历时数载而成。

“小时候，我们在城墙边捉迷藏，这里有我们童年的回忆。”刘如永也是古砖捐赠者，今年50岁。他说，老贡川人的心事，就是希望政府能重现古城墙风貌。

贡川古城墙里，每一块砖，都会“说话”。贡川镇镇长张如盛介绍，几乎每一块古砖上，都刻有“贡川”“贡堡”字样，有的还有烧制工匠的名字，就像在每一块砖打上了品牌的标志。

古人看似不经意的用心，为贡川人找回“流浪”的古墙砖，提供了最大的可能性。“无论将墙砖丢弃在世界的哪一个角落，我们都能轻易地辨认出来。”张如盛说。

一场场寻找“流浪”古砖的活动，在贡川镇发起。今年清明节期间，贡川镇又一次发动村民，将家中发现的古城墙砖无偿捐赠，用于修缮、再现古城墙。

“攀龙村共170户，家家都支持这个倡议。”贡川镇攀龙村村书记陈永很高兴地说。村民陈克和还向陈永保证，只要政府需要，他随时拆毁家里的猪圈，送去所有留存的古城墙砖。

马路边，一垛垛摆放齐整的古城墙砖，牵动着贡川人的心。心系古城墙，有些不了解情况的人，以为古城墙正在被“拆毁”，于是，热心地将此事发布在微信上，引发众议。

真相浮出水面后，这条有关古城墙遭破坏的言论，成了“美丽的误会”。“我们做的所有事，都在保护古城墙。”张如盛笑着说，这个误会，足可体现古城墙在老贡川人心里的重要性，也让贡川镇党委政府更有信心修复古城墙。

古城墙之“殇”

胡贡溪和沙溪在会清桥汇集，滋养着代代贡川人。由于自然因素，几乎每隔两年，便会出现洪水上涨的情况。今年五六月份，洪涝灾害尤为严重。仅存的那段古城墙，似乎再也支不起残缺的身体，守护贡川一方安宁。

洪涝灾害既威胁着两岸村民的生命财产安全，对古城墙的影响也不容小觑。“城墙砖泡在水里，受洪水冲刷，很容易被侵蚀，冲毁。”贡川镇水利工作站站长高超群说。

今年，贡川镇获得45万元中央拨款的应急救灾资金，用于修建250米防洪堤，想不到有了意外发现——那些“流浪”的古墙砖，竟埋藏在马路下。“我们正采用人工挖掘，争取最大限度地保存古砖完好。”高超群说。

古老的会清桥下，胡贡溪碧波粼粼，缓缓而过。依溪而建的古城墙，就像贡川的“守护神”。洪水来临，它犹如一位慈母，将贡川拥入怀中，免其受灾；匪寇袭击，它似一位英勇的战士，御敌于城门之外。

朱德忠介绍，以前，每个城门上都建有城楼，城墙中还设有城垛和射击孔，敌人来了，只要把城门一关，可谓“一夫当关，万夫莫开”。

然而，由于历史变迁和自然灾害，贡川古城墙残缺破损，“伤痕累累”。如今，仅遗留约1300米长的古城墙，原有的7个城门，也只剩下5个——攀龙门、临津门、新城门、小水门、延爽门。

“古城墙遭遇多次损毁。”75岁的老贡川人杨泰顺说，1955年，国家修建鹰厦铁路，其中一段必经贡川，当时千余米城墙被拆除。1958年大炼钢铁，古城墙砖又被刨出，用于建造锅炉。后来修建贡川大桥，还将古城墙砖做地基和水墩。

“那时候，很多丢弃的古墙砖被村民捡回家，各种用途都有。”杨泰顺说，如今，生活在城墙边的贡川人，不少人家里都有古城墙砖。走街串巷时，也能在民居或猪圈等处，发现几块古砖，实在令人惋惜。

古城墙之“殇”，是贡川人心里的遗憾。“我们希望找回每一块城墙砖，慢慢修复古城墙。”这是杨泰顺的呼声，更是每一位贡川人的心声。

修复古城

古迹不能被埋藏于地下“不见天日”，更不能因被洪水浸泡而损毁。如何最完美地呈现古城墙风姿，满足老贡川人的期冀？这成了贡川镇党委政府的当务之急。

11月21日上午，贡川镇“集结”水利、文保等部门，共同商讨保护古砖计划。“我们初定将埋藏在地下的古砖取出，改用浆砌片石作基础，再邀请民间工匠在新建的马路上‘修旧如旧’，用这些墙砖再修复一段古城墙。”张如盛说。

“早几年，村民的误会更大。”张如盛回忆，最早，政府承诺修建古城墙，希望村民捐赠古墙砖，大家都不太相信。直到后来，村民们目睹了攀龙门到会清桥一段修复完好的古城墙风貌，才相信了政府，并愈来愈支持。

今年端午节前，古城墙多处被洪水冲垮，贡川镇政府多方筹集资金进行重修。村民们再次见证了政府对古城墙的保护，心里暗暗乐开了花。

随着国家对古迹保护愈来愈重视，贡川人也紧跟步伐，竭尽所能修缮古迹。残留的贡川古城墙，早已被福建省人民政府列入省级文物保护单位。

但在贡川人心里，始终留有遗憾。重现古城墙风貌，成了每一位贡川人的期盼。“这次发现的古墙砖，加上村民自发捐赠的，可以修建约250米长的城墙。”张如盛说。

看着一块块古墙砖，林加科难掩喜悦之情。作为永安市文物保护中心主任，他说：“这几年永安市文保单位获得各项国家补助资金累计1亿元左右，这次在贡川古镇发现了古墙砖，一定要物尽其用，尽力恢复古城墙原貌。”

“修旧如旧”，是对古迹最好的保护。“古迹兼具历史传承性、文化艺术性和旅游观赏性，一旦损毁，几乎不可逆。”林加科说，在保护的基础上适度开发，才能“唤醒”古迹，吸引游客，造福村民。

斑驳城墙、老街古巷、深深古井……老贡川人记忆中的古镇，能否被抢救性修复“唤醒”，再现当年模样？这个答案，会清桥下缓缓流过的溪水，也在期待……
